At the heart of the conversation, Jesus touches her deepest desire, and offers living water. She does not know how to respond. Her limited understanding causes her to downsize what He presents to fit her current existence. She jumps at the idea of not having to carry water every day. He lifts the blinders that limit her vision and tenders a whole new life. He continues to reveal himself as Messiah. When she shares the good news with her village, you can almost hear the hope growing within her. Living water produces life-not just any kind of life-but the hope-filled, purpose-producing, faith-building, capacity-expanding kind of life that dares to believe God can do anything." The theme verse comes from the Psalmist David who says, "I thirst for God, the living God" (Psalm 42:2, NLT).

The 2010 National Women's Day service gives an opportunity for every church to honor its women and encourage them to expand the ministries they currently share. Churches may wish to recognize women for their varied and valuable contributions to the ministries of the entire church.

National Women's Day also allows each congregation an opportunity to give an offering to support the National Women's Department. These offerings help continue the ministries provided to the women of the Assemblies of God across the nation and around the world.

Theme products, including poster, bulletin cover, prayer cards, water bottle, and individual offering envelopes, to support National Women’s Day, and for use with events all year, can be found for purchase at: http://www.gospelpublishing.com/.

Free downloadables, including artwork, PowerPoints, skit scripts, and devotionals can be found at: http://women.ag.org/resources/artwork_and_logos.cfm.

The Ministering to Women in 2010 magalog can be found at: http://women.ag.org/magalog/.

This e-newsletter is a supplement to For Every Woman, ministry to women of the Assemblies of God.
Subscribe | Update Membership Settings | Unsubscribe
Donate | Women's Ministries Home
