The final morning of the 2009 Impact Prayer gathering in Philly was capped-off by sharing our "Dreams" for NF.  What can God do through us if we'll let Him; If we'll cooperate; if we'll know His will and direction; if we'll Just Do Something too big for us and perfect for Him to handle?

We spent the morning in worship led by Marva Petrus, and an extended, spontaneous prayer afterwards before we began throwing out ideas of what God might do in our local ministries, and in NF, through us.

Next year's location was discussed but not decided on.  Locations on the West Coast, South, and Midwest were discussed.  The East coast wasn't offered since the IP was hosted on the East this year.  The location will be posted at the Impact Prayer link by February of 2010.  A concerted effort will be made, also, to invite and get a commitment from more of our pastors to join and share together in this most important event.

One of the attendees of the 2009 "Philly" National Impact Prayer meeting, Emory Dively, made a comment that..."we often refer to Impact Prayer by it's initials "I. P."  When you think about it, that's right, because when, in the tech world you refer to an "ip address," you're often referring to a web, email, or vp contact address; it's the address someone else uses to contact you. "

Heaven's IP Address:     Pra.yer.24.777

Impact prayer, 2009, was just that...contacting heaven on behalf of ourselves, God's people, God's church, and lost Deaf souls.

2009 Impact Prayer begins with the encouragement of the Word of God...  "PRAY!  I will answer!" the Lord says.

With approximately 17 people in attendance, almost every NF Deaf region is represented by attendees.  From Minnesota, to Oklahoma; from Oregon to Maryland.  All have come for one purpose; to touch the heart of God for Deaf people and Deaf ministry leaders in America!

We're praying for you!

Deaf ministry delegates from 19 countries around the world gathered together for the four day World Deaf Assembly of God (WDAG) 2009 conference.  It's difficult to explain the impact of this conference as a whole simply because there are so many facets that impact the lives of those in attendance. Of course there are the messages from the Word of God by international Deaf pastors and Hearing pastors who are working in Deaf ministries around the world. Lives are touched and encouraged. The heat of ministry is quenched by the water of the Spirit in these tremendous congregational meetings.

This is only a part of how one is likely to be impacted at these meetings.  There are also the missions reports which are presented by representatives from every country present.  One would think that the smaller countries would be mostly impacted by what God is doing in the vast ministries like America and other countries represented. However, this writer believes just the opposite is true.  It is humbling to see what God is doing in and through the lives of Deaf men and women who have yielded themselves, spirit and body, for the master's use.  These brothers and sisters have mostly started with nothing and have seen the hand of God move mightily in their circumstances.  It is awe-inspiring, as you sit over a meal, or in the conference lobby at 11:00 at night with one light burning near the elevators to talk about their families and their ministries in Japan, Russia, Uzbekistan, and other far away places where most of us will never walk.

One thing that becomes clear again and again in a conference like the World Deaf AG Conference, is that the God which we serve is also active in the lives of those around the globe, in many of the same way in which we experience Him in our cities and churches and ministries.  He is no respecter of persons and the one who appears to be the lowest in every measurable area of life, often times, turns out to be the one being used by God the most.

delegates from all over the world are converging on The Big-I; the conference center which is hosting the 2009 World Deaf AG Conference.  The details are being completed to begin the meetings today (kyo), October 13th, Tuesday (Kayobi).  Our American representative, Rev. Emory Dively has the position of honor to be the opening speaker for the conference.  The theme of his message:   COME!   The facilities of this conference are of the highest quality and the accomodations have been the very best.  It:s exciting to anticipate the missions reports of the 19 countries represented and to receive Gods word from our several honored guest speakers.  Pray for your USA interpreters and those responsible to serve at this world conference; that we will represent you well.

Impact Prayer:  Everything that we see God doing in NF and the Deaf world in recent months and years, we attribute directly to prayer. "If my people, who are called by My name..." The world may see the successes of the Deaf Christian world and the response to prayer as a "conincidence."  Isn't it funny that when God's people pray, "coincidences" happen much more often!  Join us for this critical time of fasting and warfare prayer in Philadelphia on November 12, 13, and 14.

We received this email today
and feel that it is important enough to pass along to you.    We need to pray for our nation.

---------------------------
ON THIS DAY....     The Athan will be chanted on Capitol Hill, echoing off of the Lincoln                   Memorial, the Washington Monument and other great edifices that                   surround Capitol Hill
  • Thousands of Muslims from all races, creeds, colors and ethnicities     will gather for the sole purpose of prayer
  • Bonds of friendship will be formed between those in attendance,           both Muslims and Non-Muslims
  • Muslim youth will experience tours of the Library of Congress and       the Supreme Court.
  • The peace, beauty and solidarity of Islam will shine through                   America's capitol.
A DAY OF ISLAMIC UNITY...

--------------------------------------

In June 2007, Presidential candidate Barack Obama declares the USA no
 longer a Christian nation.

In 1952 President Truman established one day a year as a National Day
of Prayer.
In 1988, President Reagan designated the first Thursday in May of each
year as the National Day of Prayer.

This year however, President Obama, decided to cancel the ceremony at
the White House not wanting to offend anyone.

On September 25, 2009 from 4am until 7pm, a National Day of Prayer for
the Muslim religion will be held on Capitol Hill, beside the White
House. As a Christian, it makes me really wonder where the REAL
direction of this country is headed.

 Whether
or not   you voted  for the manas Christians I would
surely hope that this would stir your spirit. They are expecting over
50,000 muslims that day in DC.

 The website is:

www.islamoncapitolhill.com

Pay particular attention on the website to the bottom of the page where
it states, "OUR TIME HAS COME."

2 Chronicles 7:14 says "if my people, who are ca lled by my name, will
humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked
ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will
heal their land." becomes more important each day.

Perhaps all the things going on now in this country and around the
world could be solved if we would heed this scripture.

If you feel that this is an important issue, please feel free to make
 your friends and family aware.
