The Haiti Deaf School relief collection that began among Assemblies of God Deaf churches in America has, in less than one week, reached the $1000 mark. The initial goal of $1000 that was set by Philly Deaf Ministries, was opened up to the whole of the National Deaf Culture Fellowship (NF Deaf), and has become evidence that Deaf people care for their own. The goal is being raised now to $2500.00 as the amount to aim for in our support of our sister Deaf school in Port-au-Prince Haiti. The $1000.00 will be mailed from the relief account this coming week. To date, the funds collected have come from: New Jersey Pennsylvania California Illinois New York Thank you all who have given so far to this needful cause.
